Where is Eclipse installed in mac? Or How to launch the Eclipse in mac?

Problem: 

After eclipse has been installed in Mac using the eclipse installer downloaded  from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ , i am unable to find the eclipse in Finder (Under Application ) in mac



Solution:


1)  On MacOS X, eclipse.ini is found under $ECLIPSE_HOME/Eclipse.app/Contents/Eclipse where ECLIPSE_HOME is the installation folder of your eclipse distribution.

The best way to get to eclipse.ini is using the Terminal shell which allows going into .app folders (as opposed to the default behavior of Finder).


2) Ask Siri  the command 'Open Eclipse' to launch your eclipse in Mac
